Day 157: a week later

I went to Sevilla for a week and left the house to plod along quietly. I thought I could come back to a surprise. Turns out I don't appreciate the work as much unless I'm there seeing them throwing their backs into it. Nevertheless, I know there was a lot of work put into the house while I was gone.

All the floors are done, We are just waiting for the doorframes and windows to go in so that the house can be sealed. After that is done the wooden floors can be installed...BUT. In order for the door frames to fit level to the floor, we need to know what the dimensions of the wood will be. BUT we haven't chosen the wood yet. To choose the wood, we are waiting for the guy to install the wood for the dance studio. If we like his work and he brings nice samples for the floor in the house with a reasonable price. I'll sign him on. All this will happen within a few weeks.

Alma came by to say hi with me.

The other house is on the way. they dumped the cement for the foundation. I saw a little bit of plastic covering the rock. but i'm not sure if it was all around. judging by how careful they work, i think it was. but i'll double check with them when I see them.
