Day 148: Black vs. grey. Learning to Grout

When I got to the house the guys were taping up the walls with plastic to prepare for the cement on the floor. The cement guy was finally going to come....

Then I helped them grout. the debate was black or grey grout. but all three unanimously wrinkled their nose to the idea of black. not because it wouldn't look nice but because the black eventually turns to grey. and the grey is just better. So, again I trusted them and went with the grey. it didn't look bad when it was wet. Then it dried. the colour was way more lighter than i was hoping.

But it doesn't look that bad does it? the cleaning process was long. i think the best thing we should have done was let it all dry and then wipe it off.

The guys next door at the guest house are preparing the foundation.
