Day 144: Plumbing. check.

The guys finished early today. THere's not much left to do if the cement guy doesn't come. He promised to come almost 2 weeks ago. This has been really only the first real set back. Luis is going to tile the bathrooms next week. He's going to pick up the tiles tomorrow. He will only pick up what he needs and leave the rest at the store until he's ready for it because he doesn't want it to get damaged in the house.

On a side note. We've decided to go with gas water heaters. They are more economical and it solves the problem of the hot water having to travel a long way to get to all the bathrooms and also the problem of where to put the solar panels and the huge 300l tank.

Here's more of the water tubing. this is a tube that leads to the kitchen sink

This is a pipe that goes from the main bathroom ceiling to the north east balcony of m bedroom into the master bath. now we see the path of the hot water....it will run under my bed and under my closet.

Here's all the tubing and the rendered wall of the master bath.

the water will be running across all the ceilings. Luis says its better because if something goes wrong and there's a leak. you will notice it right away and be able to fix it. if not, you won't notice it until there's a huge problem.

sometimes i look at these pipes and can't imagine that these pipes will be fine all buried in the cement. but Guzman says it'll be fine for life...I hope so.
