Day 143

Here are the bathroom fittings all in place. the guys have rendered the wall roughly so that it's ready for the tiles.

The spaces around the tubes are left like this so that the tiles can be laid with minimal cutting.

Here are the rain spouts. They weren't in the project. it was originally going to be drains that went down into the ground under the house but in the end I decided to keep it simple and traditional. The water spouts will just pour out and I can collect the water with buckets ....or, ??? i dunno.

You can kind of see the spouts sticking out here. most of them are on the north side because the entire south side is full of terraces. I still don't understand why the terraces couldn't channel into each other and then pour down just one spout.
