Day 136: rolling out the fibreglass

​So this is how they waterproof the roof top. Once the final layer of cement is set, they roll out the fibreglass. to stick it to the floor, they paint 6-7 coats of paint. to keep count of the number of coats, they paint different colours.

I call this ugly brown. Guzman calls it cinnamon....

While the guys have been painting, Luis has been preparing the ceiling in the change room and bathroom of the dance studio. He cut holes for wooden beams to sit in the groves and suspend the ceiling.

Here is Luis sweeping and guzman painting. I love hearing the sound of brooms sweeping. especially when it's someone else doing the sweeping.
