It was back to work for everyone. There was a lot going on today. Including the guest house. Now that I've seen the process, I could glance over to the other plot and I knew what they were doing. While I sneaked peaks at the two Joses at work measuring, I was with Luis and the plumber. We marked all the points where there will be faucets. here are a few pictures. (I'm a bit rusty after 1 month holiday so I forgot to take pictures of all the markings but I will do it tomorrow, it is a bit more clear and basic than the electricity)

The plumber said he should be able to do all the installations next week. I shouldn't take too long because the electricity was much more and it was fast. If I'm around, i can also help to knock out the blocks... I'm a veteran now, I know how to knock it out relatively quick ;)

While Luis and I were with the Plumber, the electric guys were just finishing a few things that were pending and then had their bocadillo time (mid morning break)

In the meantime, the trusty albañiles were sweeping the rooftops in preparation for the cork insulation on the rooftop and then the waterproofing and then cement. To recap, the roof top will have 2 waterproof layers and be a polished cement finish. It only occurred to me recently that polished cement might not be cheaper than tiles. So I asked Luis and he said it will add up to be pretty much the same, possibly a little more expensive. But to not worry about it. He will absorb as much of the cost as he can. We had a good chat about how he works and that He's not a petty guy which makes me feel comfortable. There are things that I've cut out which will reduce the cost and then others that raise it. He says in the end, It will probably add up to be the same with very little difference.

I'm not sure if you can see it here but Luis has already begun to mark the level of the cement so that it's level. (i'm not sure if you understood what a Just wrote...but you'll see later)

Here are a few sneak peaks of the other house with the terrain all levelled out.

Here are Jose (contractor on the left) and Jose (architect on the right) measuring out the plot.

Here are the 2 contractors who will be working side by side for the next few months...until Luis is done.
