The boys were rendering the inside of my bedroom and bathroom. While Luis finished the exterior of the house by rendering the round tops of all the walls. I don't know how to explain...here are the pics.
This is a close up of the finished wall. Luis did the top all by hand. He had to eyeball it because there really isn't a tool for making it perfect. But I love it as it is.

Last sections of walls on the roof top.

Esteban doing the bathroom.

Guzman doing the other side of the bathroom.

So a dream can only become reality if you do something about it. So I told Luis about an extravagant idea of a roof top infinity pool that waterfalls down the entire west side of the house and runs into a stream along the ground floor of the terrace...possibly into another pool on the ground. I think I saw Luis roll his eyes and then laugh when I told him the idea. So he called Jose and they discussed it. Since I'm not going to do it now, (more like in a few years) he said we could still prepare it. so instead of putting a wall, they will leave the section (where Luis is standing) open. but they said I need to put something really tall there in the meantime. Like a big tree or bush or something. I might put in cement block plant pots?

It was a hot day so I thought I'd bring them some freezies. Freezies always bring back old memories. They started telling me how they used to sit at home and enjoy a freezie before lights out. They didn't have electricity so in the evening...well, let's just say it was like camping....or something like that.

Then they were telling me about the TVs that needed warming up. He said, you would pull the button out of the TV. a white spot would appear, you would go have dinner and when you finished, the picture would just start to appear on the tv.
Then they also said, they collected water from the rain and if it didn't rain, you didn't have water. I asked if people died of thirst and they didn't know but Guzman said his grandmother says people did die of starvation....this was during my childhood so it's quite recent. (cuz let's face it, I'm not that old) Pretty amazing eh?
Heres a little serenade by Esteban...until Luis tells on me.
