Day 118: my turn to render

Today they let me render a small section...i got a Satisfactory. but not and A+....:( I guess it was a good call not to let me render the rest of the house..
These are the little sections that I did.
first they put the ruler thing on so that i could use it as a reference. Then I sloped on the cement. When it dried a little and was a bit harder, I scraped the bumps off to make it more even. Then i used a big fat paintbrush and used it to literally throw water at the wall and then smoothed it out by using a big foam trowel and moving it in circles and pushing the cement into the wall. then when it's was all smooth, i went over it with a damp sponge to get rid of any tiny scrapes...and that's how it's done...but it takes practice to get the wall completely flat and straight.

And in the time it took me to do those 2 small sections, the guys finished all this....

And this is why I pay these stars to do it instead of me doing it alone...

At the end of the day, Luis and Esteban rendered the top part. I think it looks great. What do you think? Luis said they have to eye ball it because there's no tool to make it exact. so in the end the house is modern with smooth walls but with a hint of a traditional touch.

I think it looks great.
