The guys rendered everything that I did yesterday. :) and Luis says that next week, He'll bring the paint so I can start painting :) I"m not sure if Luis trusts my painting skills, but he'll probably do a little test paint before he lets me do everything with confidence. ha haha. He also said they will clean the bottom and paint the foundation with tar...or something like that.
Here's the bottom of the stairwell. (where the storage room will be)

This is one of the stands on the east side of the house...this one is a little shaky. I was using it yesterday...I trust them when they say it won't break but I didn't like the extra bounce it made when I walked on it.

Luis was working on the lobby window. He looks really tired here...or stressed out? I hope he's ok.

Guzman looks like Nick Hoh here. He kind of looks angry. but i think it's just the sun.

Since there wasn't much to take a picture of, I hopped up onto the roof and took some pictures just for fun.

Here is the bathroom window that they made bigger. Ooo, it's going to be nice.

Here's Esteban sticking his head out of the stairwell window....(this will be where the recessed shelf will be.

He's so funny.

The flags reached the end of their lives :( Mine is at home a little ripped but cleaned. the other two...are sitting on the floor of the terrace :( When the guys take off for their holiday, I'll clean up the place a little. It needs sweeping and all the stuff laying around needs putting away.

Those little small cans above the water tank are a kind of latex paint compound that they are mixing into the cement for the rendering. Luis says it makes it stronger.
Today Luis asked me what colour I want the cement floor in the workshop. He says there are lots of different colours that I can put, but I told him I like the natural grey colour.

Luis also asked me about the window frames and type of glass. I think I want the matte black window frames and he says there's a kind of tint to the glass that I can have. I saw the green tinted glass that he was telling me about before...it looks good but he told me to go see Jesus, the aluminium carpenter, and he will show me everything that i can choose from. :)
