The guys were finishing the door frames and window frames. I helped them put a layer of the 'cement glue' before they rendered the windows. but before I changed into my scrubs, we had some laughs while they were doing the doorframe of the workshop.

The top of the window frame needs a specially cement that helps the rendering cement to stick to the concrete. That was my job.

I did these two windows and got to stand on the big scaffolding :)

Here's a picture of me from the inside.

Doing the windows is a balancing act. These guys might be good on the beam?

Today they made fun of me when I was climbing the ladder like a bear...on all 4s..but in my defence the ladder was on a very low slope. I'm not used to balancing on the rungs with my clunky shoes....:(

this is the stairwell that they finished yesterday.

at the end of the day, they cleaned out the cement mixer. Apparently this cement mixer has been around for decades...i dunno if they're telling me the truth or just trying to entertain me with an unbelievable story....anyway, there's layers of cement caked onto the inside and today was the day they hammered it out. I call the mixer Berta...
