The guys finished the west side of the house today. It's nice to see them when they are all working on the same wall and chatting while they work...Kind of like a bunch of ladies having tea. I must say, to work on a house you really need to like the guys you're working with. They spend sooooo much time together and working together. I can't imagine surviving more than one day at the house if I couldn't stand one of the guys.
This is the wall finished. The only wall that's not done is the front entrance wall.

You can see the 3 different stages of the rendering on this one wall

look at the right edge of the photo...it's a finished wall...pretty smooth eh?

Here's a picture of the water guys (the white truck on the right side of the road)...I think they're figuring out the water for the house. Last week I forgot to mention the electricity company came to sort out the electricity for the house.

Below is a close up to show how they put in the 'pre' frames for the window frame. the silver latch you see on the upper left side of the picture is stuck to the wall with some white plaster (that's what you see in the upper centre of the picture.)

Here you can see the left side of the frame that is all smooth and ready for the proper frame to go in. The bottom of the frame is messy because Luis is going to make the ledge with stone. He says it is way better to have a ledge made of stone because it's more heavy duty...

This is what I did today. I am working on upstairs.

I took the liberty of decorating my work...;)

This is the little architectural drawing of my closet that I had to cover today.
