Day 91:door frames. finishing off the rendering in the studios

There were still some odd sections that I didn't know the guys had to finish. they fit in the frames and then rendered the rest of the walls with the frames in place. seamless.

First lets look at the pre frames. there are little latches attached to the frames and the guys plaster the latches to the walls.these are here so that when they put in the actual door frames, they attach it to these frames instead of the cement blocks. If they were to attach it to the blocks directly, they would ship the cement a lot and just make a big mess. so these fames are to keep the work neat and tidy.

The inner door frames are wooden and the exterior door frames are aluminium.

Here are the interior door frames. Im not quite sure how they locked the frames into place. but they definitely used the spray foam for something. I'm guessing it's for filling in the holes.

Here it is, all very smooth.
