Day 89: same old same old

The rendering by hand will take a really long time. They calculate about 2 months. I assume they are including all the holidays. When they are finished they will have a well deserved 2 week holiday. Now we see why Luis is so defensive about not breaking the walls once they are rendered. He says any kind of change with the wall is noticeable so once the walls are rendered he reallllly doesn't want to break the wall for anything. I guess this is why they did the studios because he knows that I'm already pretty decisive of the studios....the house on the other hand....or It could just be that the ceiling of the studios are probably the hardest so they want to get it done an over with asap? I don't know. I'm just guessing.

i didn't get too much done today because i totally forgot that Ikea was delivering something and right when I got started with the same old job, the Ikea delivery guy called and I had to rush back to Cotillo. I had just finished making a full bucket of the grout/mortar (whatever it is) so luis (really i think it was esteban) slopped it onto the underside of the stairs. I had put a little extra water so that it wouldn't dry out too quickly...i think it was still too watery because when i went back to check it out, there were still some parts that were wet and it was drying all droopy. oh well.
