Day 74: preparing the last roof.

Today they prepared the rooftop of upstairs. Luis says they will finish tomorrow so that the last dump of cement is scheduled for Thursday. Tomorrow I will meet the electrician to mark out where the electric outlets and lights will be.

Because upstairs has a lot of walls and the space is small, it's hard to get clear pictures of everything. I'll try to describe what everything is. but i might get it wrong.

This is looking at the bedroom from the upstairs dance studio where the staircase will be.

This is looking at the south balcony (we've been calling it the medium balcony) Originally this wasn't going to be a balcony but Jose made it one so that we could access all parts of the roof. Now that there's an upstairs studio, the medium balcony is now a handy passage way to access the dance studio from home.

East side. the left wall is where the staircase is. the right side is the closet area and then the bathroom.

This is the entire bathroom. The doorway closest to the right is the doorway that goes directly to the terrace. the opening to the left goes tot he room.
