We discussed the electricity outlets and lights and flooring.

The guys gave me good advice.

so the lights in the workshop will stay as they are in the plans. The lights in the dance studio will have 9 spaced out throughout the studio so that we can illuminate the front line, middle and back. so that just incase we decide to use the studio as a stage. we can light up the back of the stage or the front of the stage. I figure if we're going to have other crazy lighting. I'll have to put some temporary instalments.

Jessica suggested I show them pictures of aerial yoga so they understand what the steel bars are for. That might help them understand me a little better.

We discussed the floor finishing for the two studios. they will be polished concrete. done with a machine they call a helicopter. I thought it was a funny name. Jose explained that it's a huge machine that grinds the concrete down to a really fine finish.....(assuming i understood their spanish correctly.)

The workshop will have a resin that is painted over the cement to seal it. Luis says he had this in his garage (where he stores his car collection) but he prefers it to be porous without the resin so that if oil drips, it's soaks into the ground and it doesn't need to be cleaned up....i dunno.

The dance studio will be finished the same way but then they will lay the insulation and wood and laminate on top. They will do it like this so that if one day we want to change the floor, we can pull off the insulation and wood easily and underneath will be perfectly polished cement.

all the roof top terraces will be polished cement and then painted over. The only one that won't be is the teeny tiny one on the east side of my room. that will be tiled because it's too small for the helicopter.

The plans for my bedroom terrace will be polished cement with a wood deck at the entrance of the bedroom and jose suggested possible fake grass.. which could be a good idea that i never thought of. Either way i think it will be very practical, not ridiculously expensive and still look nice.
