Wood I'm talking about

In the last post I mentioned wood from the lighthouse in cotillo. Here are pictures of what I"m talking about.

The wood below is the wood i like the best and it seems like the wood in the best condition of every different kind of wood around here.

I don't mind the wood that is on the wall here. I think it's stained but because it's darker, it looks a little better. Only thing is when the stain gets bleached a little from the sun, the colour changes a little and it doesn't look as clean.

I forget where I took this picture. but it looks just as nice as the boardwalk.

I think this bench is the best solution for making seating around the mountain area. It's made of the stones and stainless steel brackets that are drilled into the rocks with the wooden planks inserted into the brackets.
