Changes are inevitable

Of course changes were going to arise. With the guys talking non stop and friends with all their different ideas. I'd say the most influential of course were the builders. Because i see them everyday. Of course they don't fully understand yet what my project is all about but I like their ideas. They would probably be the best advisors because they are building it and they've built so many before mine. Anyway, the first change was the doorways. Which have already paid off. It makes life so much easier and it was a change that I got to do. The next few changes were discussing if all the rooftops were going to be used as a terrace. Luis said it would be a great idea total advantage of all the roof top spaces. but in order to do that. The walls need to be at a high of one meter. and if all the heights are at one meter, then a big chunk of the building will be at a uniform level. Jose says it will turn out to be an ugly block. So we decided to keep it at different levels and only use one roof top studio above the dance studio.

Luis also asked about the pavement and he asked if I wanted a cement floor! perfect! exactly what I was hoping for. I like the idea wayyyy better than tiles and it turns out that it's the cheapest option. Lovely

The last change which is the big one. is a staircase. if we're going to make a rooftop studio....we will need stairs to go up of course. Jose sys the most expensive things in building a house are the bathrooms and staircases. This is still a pending decision. We need to get a quote first before we can decide But seeing as we will save money on cementing the floors instead of putting in tiles, maybe we can afford it.
