The guys were busy working on the roof. There's not much I could do or see. They were tying the rebars and putting them in place. I didn't want to be in the way. So I decided to open the time checking out Jose's idea of the guest house being covered by the volcanic rock.
Los chicos estaban trabajando mucho y no quería molestarlos, entonces saque unas fotos y me tire por el jardín.

This is what the guys are doing to prepare the roof. (I went up at the end of the day) They made the frame and set all the rebars along the edges of the house.

Here are some new blocks I found in the dance studio. Not quite sure what they're for.
Vi estos bloques pero no se donde van a utilizarlos.

Now that the cement from the split level has dried, I went in to check everything out. This is the tube for the drain and toilet in the guest room bathroom.

This is the view of the guest bedroom. I love it. every angle is like a picture frame.
Ahora puedo ver la vista en este ventana, que guay, me encanta.

Here they are doing two jobs at once. 1.Securing the rebar and 2. chatting their own ears off. Who said guys couldn't multitask? ;)

Here's the back view of the stairs/storage area

Honestly, i'm not sure how natural this mountain idea is going to look. It would have to be a gigantic chunk of rock for it to look like a natural cliff....or else, it will have to be a gradual hill sloping up towards the wall. but having said all that, I did find a silver lining.
The guest house/fake mountain will hide almost all the windows in my home from the street so it won't be so exposed to the street. So I guess in the end, the guest house will work out quite well. (if the fake mountain is made well.)
