Death of 2 trees

This week started off with a bit of a shock. The tractor came in to clear some more land in the back so that the cement truck could reach the pillars in the workshop area. I had a mimosa ground in the front of the workshop, which Pedro told me I would eventually have to get rid of anyway because it was in the way. The other tree was a big Verol, that the guys were throwing cement next to. I asked if the tree was going to be ok and they said NO PROB! but the truck ran it over and now it's in pieces. drying up on the concrete...

Este semana empieze con mala noticias. Llegue al terreno y vi la maquina trabajando en la esquina. No sabia porque pero bueno, no me dio alarma. Cuando llegue el camion y la grúa para echar el hormigón entendí ahora que necesitaban mas espacio para pasar. Olvide de los arboles hasta que los camiones se fue y vi a los arboles...dormiendo en el suelo :( que pena.

El Verol antes. Me aseguró, Guzman, que el Verol sobreviviría el hormigón. Pero sobrevivir una maquina...que va. :(
