Day 44: Back to building blocks
Windy, Cloudy and Rainy. When I got there, they were filling the holes/cracks, and finishing up the walls in the workshop. Luis said today was the day they were going to cut the doors open! Woo hoo! except I didn't stay long enough to see it being cut.
The ceiling will reach 3.6m. Perfect for aerial yoga.
This is how they touched up the columns.
A truck came to deliver a giant load of sand. The tractor also tried to dump it into the rooms that needed elevating but there wasn't enough space so the tractor left....Not quite sure what they decided on in the end but the tractor driver, also named Luis came to hang out while we all watched Esteban build the wall.
My job today was easy. I picked up all the steel bits and the nails on the ground, around the entire place. I pulled out my magnet invention and all the guys had a little inspection.
Then to improve on my contraption, Guzman (the guy in the blue jacket) decided to improve on it and gave me a little handle.
All the stuff neatly piled up.
