Day 31: windows and doorways
The tops of the window and doorway frames are being prepared for the cement. All the columns will be done as well. FIrst, one guy cleans out the dried mortar that's fallen on to the cement pillars. All done with a chisel and hammer and a paint brush. While the other two guys put up the wood pannels to frame the columns. It's all looking like proper construction, worthy of a hard hat.
Not sure if you need to know which doorway is which, but I'll just go over it quickly.
This is the doorway of the pantry and kitchen window. ( I am planning to make the pantry doorway look like a secret entrance. It will be either a sliding bookcase, or a series of cabinet doors. (Other ideas are welcome)
