The cement went into the foundation today! They finished about 3/4 of it. You can see the sewage tubes sticking out and copper wiring for the groudning. (Update: Feb 24: They acutally finished all of it. I just didn't understand what was going on. I wrote updates to this post in bold to clear up all the questions)

The truck delivering the cement...

The area that isn't covered with cement doesn't have the plastic or steel grid. I'm not sure what they will do here....(Update: Feb 24: I spoke to Luis, he said they didn't cover these parts because these sections will be elevated. another 48cm! so they will add another layer of pvc waterproofing and then put another layer of cement)

This is the guest bathroom with the sewage tube sticking out. I'm not sure why the plastic covering and the steel are not on here.

This is the view of the house from the back of the dance studio.

I don't know what that little knob is doing in the middle of the lot. (this area is the workshop)

This is the grounding electrode for the workshop. (there are 2 ends sticking out, one in the workshop area and the other in the house section) I'm still not sure exactly how this works. but from what I've read online, the copper wiring that is sticking out of the foundation are the ends and the electrode runs along the bottom of the footing. I'll ask the guys tomorrow when I see them. (Update: Feb 24: I spoke to Luis, there are 3 of these grounding wires. the wires will be pinned to the ground and all the electricity wires will be connected to this through the main breaker....or something like that. There's 3 in total. One for each building (house, and the 2 studios)

The other end of the wire is here by the entrance/pantry of the house.
