Day 20: Building blocks are going up!

Today they started putting in the building blocks. The walls are going up! Dance studio is going up first.During the hour that I was there the wall went up at least a meter. I made them some banana bread to keep their strength up! I hope they liked it.

Here you can see the sewage pipes from the guest bathroom. After taking the molds off, you can see the tubing sticking out of the foundation/footing (I don't know the difference between the two terms)

You can see the tubing here with the hole not yet exposed. (I don't know why) with the grounding electrode for the house. This is the pantry section of the house (by the backdoor entrance). Next to the kitchen. So, I guess this is where the main breaker will be. Perfect location.

This pipe is for the general bathroom on the main floor by the office.

Here are the guys working on the back wall of the dance studio....where the mirrors will be! I've been speaking to people about getting good mirrors for the studio and everyone has been saying that it's hard to get good mirrors and that they are very expensive. So my last resort will be to buy a load of the big ikea mirrors (which are decent enough quality), take them out of the frames (use them for other furnishing ideas) and installing the ikea mirrors on the wall with brackets. But that's my last resort. I have high hopes of finding something better.

Everyday I go to see the site, I wish I could help out. Today looked like it would have been lots of fun.
