Day 25: Walls still going up. Checking out window views.

The guys are still working on the walls in the studio and workshop. Now you can see where the windows will be. At the bottom of this post I have pictures of what most windows will look out to. Keep in mind that most of the windows will be looking onto a giant white building. Which will be the guest house.

They put the second floor bathroom sewage tubes. It's pretty tall. Is this also some kind of ventillation system for the drain?

Below they are preparing to raise the upper rooms (guest bedroom and bathroom)

Bathroom above and bedroom below.

Back to the brick work. This is a close up of the bricks. The holes don't go all the way through. I kept wondering why the top of the wall was so smooth....now I know. They layer the bricks with the holes facing down and the smooth side up.

The guys are finishing up the studio and workshop.

Here are the walls of the workshop. (almost done) some of the walls are not up just to make life easier for the guys. Their equipment is in the back and they would have to walk around the entire house to move everything...so a few of the walls will go up at the last minute. Then, judging by the new entrance cleared in front of the workshop, I assume everything will go through the guest room and the workshop. (all on the south side)

Below is the view looking into the workshop. Doorway on the left is the bathroom and doorway on the right will be the tool room.

Windows on the north side of the workshop.

South window/entrance of the workshop.

Dance studio window/entrance.

When i was taking this picture, I thought it was a good view of the 'mountain' i keep talking about. but now, looking at the picture, it doesn't look like much. Maybe if you look close up, you can notice the different levels. This weekend, some friends and I will be weeding all the thorns and unwanted plants. Hopefully after that you will see the actual mountain a bit better.
