Day 12: Finishing the Foundation Outline

Today they finished pouring the concrete on the outline of the structure. Yesterday they dug the part the machine missed and compacted it and filled the concrete where the corner of the workshop will be.

This is Luis and the guys unloading the truck...preparing the matierials for Monday. On Monday they will begin working on the land all day. (I'll have to start making some snacks for them)

Luis came to say hi and give me an update.

This is where the terrace of the dance studio meets the 'mountain'. Tomorrow Jesus and I will cut out all the dead weeds on the mountain and I'm going to start moving the rocks around so that it makes a natural path over the mountain.

This is the outline of the 2 workshop spaces. With the house on the left end.

This is the terrace of the house. The rectangle on the far right is the guest bedroom and the box on the far left is my office. If you look far into the distance behind the planks of wood, you'll see gigantic rocks. they were saved from the digging of the land for landscaping. and under those rocks is a ditch....kind of the perfect place if i decide to have a pool or little pond. I will look into what's involved to have a pond before I decide for sure.
